Keith McAllister was trapped in the MRI machine for about an hour and suffered multiple heart attacks following the ‘freak accident,’ his stepdaughter has revealed

The Long Island man who was killed in a freak MRI machine accident was sporting a staggering 20-pound chain necklace adorned with a padlock at the time of the tragedy, his grieving wife said. Keith McAllister, 61, died after suffering several heart attacks following the bizarre incident at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury last Wednesday.

Lisa Kis booked time off work, fasted, drove across the city and paid for parking on her way to a long-awaited MRI appointment. When she got there, she was turned away.

Keith McAllister was caught in an MRI machine at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, N.Y. on July 16, and died of his injuries the following day. In an emotional interview, his wife recalled him going 'limp' in her arms and watching the machine 'snatch him.
