Ryne Sandberg, a baseball Hall of Famer who spent the majority of his career playing with the Chicago Cubs, has died. He was 65. Sandberg’s death on Monday, July 28, was announced by the Chicago Cubs organization as well as the MLB.
Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts said Ryne Sandberg “will be remembered as one of the all-time greats in nearly 150 years of this historic franchise.”
