The Steelers made multiple roster moves, signing cornerback Kam Alexander, long snapper Jake McQuaide and offensive lineman Julian Pearl. Alexander originally signed with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp. He participated in rookie minicamp with the Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons after going undrafted.
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of three players, followed by three subsequent releases — including fan-favorite WR Roc Taylor.
In addition to the previously reported signing of cornerback Kam Alexander, the team announced that they have signed long snapper Jake McQuaide and offensive tackle Julian Pearl. Defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko, wide receiver Roc Taylor, and linebacker Devin Harper were dropped from the roster in corresponding moves.
Seattle signed undrafted free agent Alphonzo Tuputala, the team announced, and waived fellow UDFA Kam Alexander. Tuputala participated in the Seahawks' rookie minicamp in May as a tryout player, and now he's got a second chance to try and stick with the team. Alexander was signed in late July at the start of training camp.
