In her order, Judge Beverly Cannone said the Read case continues to draw "daily, divisive attention" and jurors could face "a real and present risk" if their names were released.

At least one juror was identified on social media following Read’s first trial, despite Cannone impounding the list, she wrote. The list was impounded last year after a juror filed a motion indicating they were afraid for their and their family’s safety.

The juror said prosecutors failed to prove Read’s SUV struck John O’Keefe the night he died, but he stopped short of suggesting any sort of police coverup.
