Florida State University has successfully landed one of the top players in the country. Navy All-American Devin Carter from Douglas County High School in Georgia has committed to the Seminoles. According to 247Sports, Carter is the No. 135 overall player in the country and a four-star prospect.

Florida State continued its recruiting surge with commitments from tight end Xavier Tiller (No. 82 in the 2026 ESPN 300) and wide receiver Devin Carter (No. 129).

Four-star wide receiver Devin Carter flipped his commitment from Auburn to Florida State. Carter had originally committed to Florida State, then flipped to Auburn, and has now flipped back to Florida State. This decommitment drops Auburn's 2026 recruiting class ranking to No. 62 nationally.
