The Atlanta offense, however, finally came to life and put together a few crooked number innings.

Bleacher Report's Tim Kelly argued the Atlanta Braves should re-sign designated hitter Marcell Ozuna and not trade him at the MLB deadline.

Colorado managed to take advantage of a shaky Bryce Elder in the fourth inning, which began with a Keston Hiura hit-by-pitch and a Tyler Freeman walk. Jordan Beck struck out, but Thairo Estrada’s base hit loaded the bases for burgeoning star Hunter Goodman.

As the Braves languished through the first five innings of a 12-4 win over the Rockies on Friday night at Truist Park, there was reason to think about what they might get for Marcell Ozuna and others if they end up being sellers before the Trade Deadline.

Harris has homered in back-to-back games and will try to keep it going when the Braves host Colorado in the second contest of their three-game series on Saturday. Atlanta won the opener 12-4, with Harris hitting a game-tying three-run homer to fuel the comeback.
