The Belfast man accused in murdering his wife and injuring his mother in Readfield was scheduled to be in court Friday, but it didn’t happen.

Samuel Whittemore, 34, of Belfast, was charged with murder after Margaux Whittemore, his wife, was found dead outside his parents' home in Readfield Wednesday.

A man has appeared in court in Belfast charged with the murder of a 34-year-old man in Dublin City centre at the weekend. Ryan Ndede, 23, of Boroimhe Birches in Dublin, is charged with the murder of Quham Babatunde. Mr Babutunde died after he was stabbed close to Grafton Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A man allegedly murdered an asylum seeker by stabbing him in the heart during a “group melee” in the centre of Dublin, a Belfast court has heard.

The judge ruled Friday that Samuel Whittemore would remain held without bail. He will undergo an evaluation to determine that he is ready to appear in court.
