A nice walk in the sunshine along the wharf to find a few geocaches. Enjoyed the history and the views. Check out the plaque next to the whale and do some research into the man - nice story.Full review by jesssleelee

Hi...There’s a designated portion of the beach walk sidewalk DOES have a Sunday Show of Vendors that sell primarily jewelry (hand made) and assorted items that may appeal to a diverse crowd. I thought it annoying! Oh then to the wharf! It is somewhat ok. Not great. But very not so good. The only refreshing part was that the day we went it was cool, breezy, and beautiful sea scape in which you could see a lot of Santa Barbara. Plan to go somewhere else. Because you will quickly need to discover (which there are numerous!) another planned distraction! This one you can miss and not feel that you had to see it!
I was here 20 years ago and would like to find the boardwalk with lots of vendors. It was near a pier, is this the one?

This is my very first visit so I couldn't say if this is the one but there was none or very few vendors at the beginning of the board walk leading up the pier
